Launch Season: What’s New at Digital Ink

by Jason Unger, Founder

It’s been a busy few weeks here at Digital Ink!

As we approach the end of 2024, we’ve been rolling forward nonstop with launch after launch – with even more on the way.

Here’s what we’ve been working on as we get closer to the new year.

AACTE Website Redesign

Our long-time partners at the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE), the leading voice on educator preparation, asked us to help take their mission even further. Their previous website, while incredibly functional, was a bit overwhelming: there were too many links, too many options, and too many ways for users to get distracted.

At the same time, AACTE was rebranding with a new logo, color palette, and style guide – and needed their website to catch up.

As we designed the new website, accessibility was a key factor in every decision we made. Their new site is clean, easy to use, and reflects their diverse membership base.

Thank you and your team for delivering a website with a modern, aesthetically appealing design, improved functionality, and user-friendly navigation that offers users an enjoyable and fully responsive browsing experience. We are thrilled with the final product.

Katrina Norfleet, Vice President, Marketing & Communications Strategy, AACTE

Aha Media Group Website Redesign

When Aha Media Group, a healthcare content agency, was ready to modernize their website, they challenged us to take their brand to the next level, while not losing the qualities and characteristics their clients know about them.

The redesign process was incredibly collaborative, as Aha has a plethora of experience in developing site architectures and writing website copy. It was a great match and partnership, and their new website is flexible, optimized for search engines, and built for lead generation and conversions.

We love how you refreshed our website design without straying from our brand. In fact, you elevated our brand!

Creative Minds International Website Redesign

Our portfolio of education and school websites continues to grow with the launch of the new site for Creative Minds Internal Public Charter School (CMI). CMI, located in Washington, DC, takes a student-centered pedagogical approach and uses a global lens to educate students in preschool through 8th grade.

Their previous website’s design was limiting to the school’s marketing staff, requiring them to use specific layouts and modules without enough flexibility for when things change – like during the COVID-19 pandemic. One of their major goals with the new site was to ensure that they could easily add, edit, and remove content depending on their current needs and not be locked into fields and designs that weren’t essential at the moment.

With our approach of using Advanced Custom Fields and ACF extensions for flexible layouts, we were able to build them a site that allows them to make changes on the fly, integrate an alert bar for notifications, and easily manage their content.

RAISE 2025 Landing Page Design

After the redesign and launch of their corporate site earlier this year, the OneCause team asked us to take a look at the site for their RAISE conference – a yearly event headed to San Antonio in 2025.

We designed the first RAISE website in 2019, and it generally stayed the same each year with updated event information. For 2025, the team wanted to freshen things up and modernize the design – and so we got to work.

With registration opening in the fall but more time needed for a full website redesign, we worked with the RAISE team to design and build a landing page for the 2025 event while the full site gets redesigned. The new landing page feels very much like the RAISE brand, but integrates more interactivity, animation, and flexibility in storytelling.

Stay tuned for the full website redesign in early 2025.

RewardsFocus Homepage Redesign

When we designed the RewardsFocus website and created the brand back in 2018, we always knew storytelling would be a major part of the unique approach. RewardsFocus, which works with organizations to provide Total Rewards Statements to employees to help them understand their full compensation and benefits, has always been a people-first enterprise.

When the team asked us to help refresh their homepage, with updated copy and new imagery, we were excited to jump right in.

The new homepage stays true to their brand’s mission, while making it easier than ever to understand the benefits of their products and the impact they can have on an organization’s staff and employees. Redesigning the homepage also gave us an opportunity to optimize their mobile design, making it more accessible and usable for their customers.

Loving the new home page! Thanks to everyone for your work on the redesign of the home page. It looks great!
